Microsoft dodges in...
As Google starts to dominate its web services and solutions, Microsoft doesn't want to be left behind and has come up with a plan to wipe atleast hmm compete in this new space....
Microsoft's recently launched new web based service/portal to compete Google and Yahoo and it is called "Windows Live" .... www.Live.com I liked the Live Favorites feature it allows me to add all my favorites or import from my machine and carry along whereever I go and log on ... Yet to beta test other features like MSN and other cool stuff ...
Office Live and Windows Live represent Microsoft's next-gen platform strategy - Gartner
Windows Live is an advertising-supported service that lets users customize their own home pages with search content, RSS feeds, workspaces, applications and a new AJAX-based e-mail system called Live Mail; and Live Messenger, an updated version of Microsoft?s MSN Messenger. The free service is not designed to replace the Redmond, Wash.-based company?s MSN.com, which will continue to feature programmed content.
This is a serious contender so watch out guys here comes the monster ....
